Bell 212 HP with BLR Strake Technology
Bell Helicopters B212 was originally designed in 1973 as a fifteen place transport helicopter specializing in utility type work. With it's induction to the Canadian military this helicopter has proven itself as a timeless workhorse. The 212’s that Skyline operate have undergone extensive upgrades and modifications to the engines and drive train enabling them outperform regular 212’s.
Additionally Skyline has installed BLR strake technology to their 212’s increasing their hover performance as well as larger tail rotors again allowing better performance at altitude. As this aircraft is a proven provider, Skyline utilizes these helicopters in a variety of challenging and technical environments where the safety of our crew and passengers are paramount.
