Skyline is primarily a utility Helicopter operation utilizing a fleet of Bell 212HPs and Agusta 119 Koalas. Skyline’s primary operations involve supporting Oil and Gas exploration in the form of helicopter onshore support of data acquisition (seismic).
Heli-Portable Seismic
"Heli-Portable Seismic” is the movement of seismic equipment via a long line attached to the above-mentioned aircraft. The crew to support this equipment is also flown internally with the same helicopters although not at the same time.
This type of operation over the past two decades has proven to be the safest and most efficient method of conducting seismic operations in remote locations. This form of transportation allows our customers to better utilize their time and better manage their equipment in rough terrain, while minimizing the potential risk to the general public, ground and flight crews, and the environment.
